Detroit Lions to be out WR Jameson Williams vs. Packers

The NFC-leading Detroit Lions received some bad news on Monday night: They’re going to be missing former first-round receiver Jameson Williams for the next two weeks. ESPN’s Eric Woodyard reported that Williams is going to serve a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

Currently, Williams is the number two pass-catching option for the Lions, catching 17 balls on 30 targets for 361 yards and three touchdowns for a 21.2 yards per catch average. For perspective, the Lions’ number one receiver, Amon-Ra St. Brown, has caught 39 balls on 50 targets for 401 yards and four touchdowns this season.
