It’s somewhat hard to believe this guy is still hanging around. Cornerback Demetri Goodson will soon be back on the Green Bay Packers’ active roster.
Goodson ripped up his knee last November. He spent the beginning of this season on the physically unable to perform list. Goodson has been practicing with the team for the past couple weeks, however.
The Packers have told him they will activate him before this week’s game with Tampa Bay. That will mean a roster spot that currently belongs to someone else.
Goodson has never played extensively on defense. However, when injuries ravaged the Packers’ secondary in 2016, he did end up making three starts.
