GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The toughest job at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon belonged to the guy with the giant net who tried to catch the squirrel that ran through the end zone.
Referee Tony Corrente stopped play briefly in the third quarter with the Green Bay Packers in the red zone and the squirrel just behind the Indianapolis Colts' defense.
When play resumed, Aaron Rodgers threw incomplete on the next play, a second-and-9 from the Colts’ 13-yard line.
Blame the squirrel for killing the Packers’ momentum if you must.
