Delaware stars, ex-Eagles in NFL: From Joe Flacco in Year 17 to a rookie's debut in Brazil

MarShawn Lloyd was just 7 years old when Joe Flacco made his NFL debut in 2008 as a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens.

They're both in the NFL now as Flacco, who will turn 40 in January, begins his 17th season as the Indianapolis Colts backup quarterback, his seventh NFL team. Lloyd, who grew up in Middletown, is a running back for the Green Bay Packers. He was drafted in the third round out of Southern Cal after three seasons at South Carolina.

Lloyd, however, will have to travel much farther than Flacco did for his NFL debut.
