The Packers have already seen a starter go down on defense. Now, they have to wonder whether they’ve lost another on the offensive side of the ball. During Saturday’s family night event, starting left tackle David Bakhtiari left practice on a cart with an apparent injury to his left ankle.
Bakhtiari suffered the injury during a team drill, leaving for the locker room soon after receiving medical attention on the sideline. After he departed, third-year offensive lineman Kyle Murphy filled in at left tackle. Packers head coach Mike McCarthy did not immediately comment on the severity of Bakhtiari’s injury after the practice.
