Those hopes have been ratcheted up considerably by Adams himself. Not by anything he’s said — everyone says this is their year — but by his behavior and performance. Adams not only looks like the real deal, he’s turned plenty of heads on the field too, from quarterback Aaron Rodgers to coach Mike McCarthy.
And while we normally don’t pay any attention to guys who get singled out before training camp — Brandon Underwood, anyone? — there does seem to be something special about Adams.
McCarthy sounded awfully impressed with Adams, on Tuesday.
