Neither quarterback Aaron Rodgers nor receiver Davante Adams have had things go according to plan since they left Green Bay.
Rodgers went down with an Achilles tendon tear in his first game as a New York Jet in 2023. This year, the Jets have started off 3-3 and have already made changes at head coach and offensive play-caller.
Adams, meanwhile, chose the Las Vegas Raiders as a landing spot because of his connection to then-starting quarterback Derek Carr, who was Adams’ college quarterback at Fresno State. Carr is no longer in the picture there. In the two and a half seasons that Adams was been a Raider, the team has posted a 16-24 record.
