It now seems pretty certain that the injury will keep him sidelined when the Packers face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Coach Mike McCarthy said Adams’ chances of playing are slight, this morning.
“He’s going to have get out and jump around tomorrow, jump through some hoops,” McCarthy said.
The Packers fly to San Francisco today and have their final practice of the week on Saturday.
Now, on the surface, the Packers will be without their No. 2 receiver. In reality, that matters little.
Adams was supposed to be the Packers breakout star this year and, to date, that hasn’t happened.
