Who knows?
What we do now know is that Jones got suspended by the league last week because of weed. It was a one-game suspension, which is odd because most drug-related suspensions are four games. However, it appears Jones hasn’t had a positive drug test, he just got caught with a bag of weed.
Thus, the one-game ban.
Jason Wilde found that Jones was cited for marijuana possession on January 19. He paid a fine and went on his way and no one would probably have known had the league not thrown down the Ginger Hammer.
