Darren Sharper had it all … a Super Bowl ring, a great career and a solid standing as a broadcaster with NFL Network.
Then it all came crashing down with allegations that he drugged and had sex with more than a dozen women through the years.
Those allegations turned into consequences today as the former Packer, Viking and Saint was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
By the time he gets out he will be nearing the age of 60.
The hard-hitting safety came into the NFL with the Packers in 1997 during their Super Bowl run of that season – a year that ended with the team’s loss to John Elway and the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXXII.
