I want to see the speed. I want to see the athletic ability. I want to see the playmaking.
A new NFL calendar has flipped and the expectations for sophomore outside linebacker Lukas Van Ness have risen exponentially.
The Packers took Van Ness with the 13th overall pick last year. He played 33 percent of the defensive snaps and 24 percent of the special teams snaps. He tallied eight hurries and five sacks. He even showed off his speed by chasing down and tackling Justin Fields from behind.
Van Ness just needs to be given opportunities.
