There are only five Packers receivers currently on the roster. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Samori Toure and Bo Melton were all rookies last year. And Jeff Cotton was an undrafted free agent in 2020, but has only played in one game.
“We’re going to have to add some bodies to that room,” said Packers coach Matt LaFleur at the NFL annual meetings in Phoenix last week.
The question is who? It wouldn’t make any sense for the Packers to burn a high draft pick on a receiver. With a young and unproven quarterback, this team needs a veteran.
