We all know that quarterbacks want to pass the ball.
Most of them would rather just throw it all over the place and win the game on their throwing shoulder. Ironically enough, that isn’t how first ballot Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers feels.
“We maybe reacted to the score a little bit and we were running the ball well,” the 38-year-old quarterback said this week referencing the 23-7 season opening loss to Minnesota. “I think we ran it about 6 a clip, so we’ve just got to stick with the run, make sure we get our attempts where we want them to be because that means one of those guys is touching the ball probably.
