The moment Josh Jackson was drafted, I was giddy.
Here was a guy that was No. 1 in the nation at passes defended at the University of Iowa in 2017 and No. 2 at interception return yardage. The Packers then took him in the second round (45th overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft.
The reason I was so excited was because the Packers were ranked 31 of 32 teams when it came to pass coverage that season. Cornerbacks Quinten Rollins (94 percent), Josh Hawkins (67 percent), Davon House (63 percent) and Damarious Randall (62 percent) allowed a reception percentage over 60 percent in 2017.
