I really like Aaron Jones as a player. He's a dynamic running back that can do it all with electric running combined with excellent receiving skills.
Many think that the Packers should slap the franchise tag on Jones and guarantee that he will be wearing green and gold next year.
"It's not an organizational philosophy to not use it," said Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst. "I think every situation is different. It is a tool that is out there for us to use if it makes sense for the football team."
The last time the Packers used the franchise tag was on Ryan Pickett in 2010.
