Cory's Corner: Bakhtiari Isn't Riding Off Into Sunset

This year’s Packers roster is filled with plenty of unproven players. Youngsters looking to make their mark and veterans that are looking to take advantage of an increased role.

Then there’s David Bakhtiari. At 31, he is the oldest player on the roster and he is also the fulcrum for an offensive line that is counting on the venerable left tackle to provide the necessary protection for Jordan Love. If he cannot go for any reason, there are the interchangeable parts of Zach Tom and Yosh Nijman — but it all starts with Bakhtiari.

“Trained, put on muscle to protect the knee,” said Bakhtiari.
