Corey Linsley, JC Tretter give the Packers options at center

GREEN BAY, Wis. – There was no reason to think JC Tretter wouldn’t get his starting job back when he returned from his 2014 knee injury.

Well, there was one reason: Corey Linsley.

Linsley played so well in place of Tretter as the Green Bay Packers' starting center that coach Mike McCarthy never went back to the player he had spent the entire 2014 offseason grooming for the job.

Now that Linsley appears set to return after missing extensive time over the last month because of an ankle injury, the only reason he might not get his job back is Tretter.
