Controversial ex-Kansas City Chiefs WR, playoff hero to sign with Seattle Seahawks

According to a report on Wednesday from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is signing a one-year, $5,500,000 deal with the Seattle Seahawks.

Valdes-Scantling started his career with the Green Bay Packers in 2018 before joining the Chiefs in 2022, where he helped the team win back-to-back championships in Super Bowl LVII and LVIII.

The former South Florida Bull's most notable moment in Kansas City came when he caught a 33-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes against the Baltimore Ravens in the 2023 AFC Championship Game that helped the Chiefs advance to Super Bowl LVIII.
