With the calendar now squarely in October, rivalry games are starting to appear on the college football schedule. One of the best takes place this Saturday, as Oklahoma and Texas meet on neutral ground to stake their claims to top-ten spots in the rankings. Oklahoma has not yet been significantly tested, while Texas lost a close game to LSU in one of the year’s first premier matchups.
Last year, the two teams met twice in the greater Dallas area — once in the regular season at the Cotton Bowl and once in the Big XII Championship Game at AT&T Stadium.
