Ready for some exceptional college football matchups?
Well, maybe this week isn’t for you. As week five gets underway, there are just two games between ranked teams, both taking place in the mid-afternoon time slot. Virginia finds itself in the top 25 for the first time in a while, and today they travel to Notre Dame, who face their second straight ranked opponent. The Irish lost to #3 Georgia last week in Athens but get a home game today to try to bounce back and stay in the playoff hunt.
The other ranked game is out in the Pac-12, where USC and Washington square off.
