Green Bay — Coach JimCaldwell's decision to fire offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi and line coaches Jeremiah Washburn and Terry Heffernan seven games into what appeared to be a lost season seems to have rejuvenated the Detroit Lions' aimless attack.
The Lions (4-7) have turned the ball over just once in the last three games, reduced their sacks and found at least a semblance of a rushing attack.
It has added up to a three-game winning streak and a glimmer of playoff hope for the Lions entering a game Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers (7-4) at Ford Field.
