Coach Matt LaFleur makes Packers team history

No head coach in the long history of the Green Bay Packers has ever won more games in their first two seasons than Matt LaFleur.

Just 12 games into his second season, LaFleur has already set the new franchise record for total wins in his first two seasons. He has 22 after Sunday’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles, breaking the previous record of 21 set by Mike McCarthy and Mike Sherman.

LaFleur’s Packers are 22-6 since the start of 2019, good for the third-best record in football. LaFleur’s .786 win percentage is the second-best in NFL history among coaches with at least 20 games.
