PHILADELPHIA – Aaron Rodgers’ hamstring injury isn’t the one that Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy sounded more concerned about. That designation belongs to Clay Matthews’ shoulder.
Matthews said he sustained an injury to the AC joint in his left shoulder in the first half of Monday night’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles and when asked on Tuesday whether Matthews’ injury could be more problematic than Rodgers, the coach said: “Yes.”
“I can’t say enough about him coming back out there and fighting through what he did,” McCarthy said. “So I’m sure he doesn’t feel very good today.
