That is, the Sunday Night Football theme song. NBC is recording a new version of the song with Carrie Underwood called “Oh, Sunday Night.”
We’re sure that will be awesome (not really). We’re also sure Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews will be mugging for the camera along with Underwood, just like he has for the past four years.
Oh, so you’re telling us Matthews wasn’t actually on a stage with Underwood and all of those other players all of this time?
This year, Matthews will be joined by a very defense-heavy group –Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack and Arizona Cardinals defensive backs Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu.
