City of Green Bay, Green Bay Metro, Packers announce free G-line bus route

The City of Green Bay, Green Bay Metro Transit and the Green Bay Packers announced details Wednesday of the new free G-Line bus route, aimed at connecting Lambeau Field and the Titletown District with downtown Green Bay.

The bus will run every 30 minutes, with stops from Cabela’s along Lombardi Ave., up Broadway to downtown, to the Metro Transit Center on University Ave. The route will be offered Mondays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The G-line’s route, which is now running, will operate during a two-month trial period, after which the use of the route will be reviewed for the future.
