Christl Shows Packers History, Warts and All

Cliff Christl is such an amazing addition to Packers.com. His writing is simply can't-miss stuff each and every time.

His latest offering is no different, and it sheds light on something that certainly feels relevant to what is making headlines in the NFL these days.

Specifically, Christl tells of the time the Packers were kicked out of the league for cheating.

No, I'm not kidding.

The Packers were actually kicked out in January 1922 for using at least three players with college eligibility remaining under assumed names in a non-league game against Racine.
