Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson’s father took to Twitter/X on Wednesday to clear up some information about the receiver’s injury sustained in the regular season finale against the Chicago Bears. According to Tazim Wajid Wajed, a former Packers player himself, Watson had a “simple ACL” tear. Below are his full comments.
He’ll have his surgery soon, and should be back around Week 12, with a normal rehab. There’s nothing outside of what’s typical with his injury. Simple ACL and minor cleanup. He’s just doing usual pre-surgery strengthening prehab to get ahead of any post-surgical atrophy!
