Now THAT was an ugly win.
Though the Green Bay Packers won their previous two games in less-than-ideal fashion, yesterday's 27-20 win over the Chargers was one of the ugliest wins in recent memory. And yet, despite allowing a 500-yard passing day and forcing just one turnover, the defense pulled through in the clutch and sealed the Packers' sixth win of the season and ensured that they enter their bye week undefeated at 6-0.
Though it's cliche, the Packers desperately need this bye week, with numerous injured players filling up the injury report.
