The Green Bay Packers practiced on Monday without a few key players as the team returned from an off day following Saturday’s Family Night, and questions about the depth of the secondary in particular are beginning to bubble up. Two potential starting defensive backs missed Monday’s practice entirely, with another only participating briefly before leaving the field.
At cornerback, each of the top draft picks from the last two years sat out. Kevin King missed practice with a shoulder injury — thankfully it was an issue with a different shoulder than the one he had surgery on several months ago — while rookie Jaire Alexander skipped on-field work due to a groin issue.
