Now there are just two significant opportunities for players on the fringes of the Green Bay Packers’ roster to prove that they belong on the team when the regular season begins. Today, the Baltimore Ravens are in Green Bay to participate in a few days’ worth of work, giving the Packers a high-quality challenge to close out training camp.
The weekend gets underway today with a joint practice between the two teams, the Packers’ second of the summer. Last week’s practice with the Denver Broncos did not go particularly well, and the Packers followed that up with a stinker of a preseason game on Sunday night.
