The Green Bay Packers take a break from practice on Thursday, but Wednesday was an interesting session in terms of which players were and were not lined up with the starting units. In particular, the offensive line came into focus after an abysmal performance by a player on the top line on Tuesday, and that led the team to make a change in the lineup.
The Packers signed free agent offensive tackle Andre Dillard this offseason to help bolster their depth at that position, while also drafting Jordan Morgan in the first round. But Morgan was working as a starter at guard on Wednesday, and the absence of Zach Tom (still recovering from a torn pec) has left a gap at right tackle.
