Left tackles and kickers don’t share a whole lot in common. One position is often manned by the largest player on an NFL team’s roster, while the other is among the smallest. One plays 60-plus snaps per game, while the other maybe gets to 10 if they’re lucky.
But for the 2024 Green Bay Packers, both positions will be under the microscope when the team heads into training camp in July — though the reasons why are also very different.
At left tackle, competition will be largely due to investment at the position, as the Packers made Jordan Morgan their first-round draft pick.
