It’s only natural for football fans to try to define who a team’s “Wide Receiver 1” is. In the modern NFL, where fantasy football is a huge part of fandom, it’s only natural to look for a go-to player on each team, someone who clearly will be a week-in and week-out producer of yards and touchdowns.
However, the Green Bay Packers are not interested in such designations. A team that had three players accrue more than 500 yards and six with more than 300 a year ago was more than content to ride the hot hands at different points throughout the season.
