Cheese Curds, 6/21: Packers’ young defensive backs aim to give coaches tough decisions

The starting positions in the Green Bay Packers’ secondary appear to be mostly set already. At the start and end of training camp, the starters were essentially the same: Adrian Amos and rookie Darnell Savage, Jr. at safety with Jaire Alexander and Tramon Williams at cornerback. Add Kevin King in to the mix at corner and you have a solid top three at corner before even mentioning last year’s second-round pick in Josh Jackson.

But while each of those six players is a lock to get significant playing time on defense, there are plenty of exciting youngsters on the roster who will look to carve out niches for themselves in training camp.
