For the first time since the news broke about Rodgers’ displeasure on Thursday, general manager Brian Gutekunst has addressed head-on the contract situation and the team’s plans for Rodgers. He did so in an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, making no bones about the fact that the Packers are willing to and want to give Rodgers a full-blown contract extension.
