Cheese Curds, 5/30: On the Packers’ charity Softball rosters, & Jahri Evans’ veteran approach

Jahri Evans was arguably the best offensive guard in football for a span of a few seasons. He made six straight Pro Bowls and earned first-team All-Pro honors four years in a row from 2009 through 2012.

While he is now 33 and will turn 34 before this season begins, he appears to still have good football in front of him, and he is penciled in as the Green Bay Packers’ starting right guard for 2017. Despite his accolades and a Super Bowl ring, however, Evans isn’t letting his success go to his head.
