Cheese Curds, 5/25: Welcome to Green Bay, Marcedes Lewis

It’s late May and the Packers are still looking for free agents. What’s the world coming to?

Brian Gutekunst’s latest addition is Marcedes Lewis, a 6-6, 255 pound tight end who has spent all 12 of his NFL seasons to date with the Jacksonville Jaguars. While the Packers’ forays into free agency at the tight end position lately have been...uh...mixed, Lewis comes with a solid reputation and brings another reliable presence to the offense.

Lewis has never been a field stretching tight end, and at 34-years old that’s not likely to change.
