One of the most intriguing selections that the Green Bay Packers made in the 2017 NFL Draft was their last. With the 247th pick, the Packers landed wide receiver Malachi Dupre from LSU, a tall, explosive wideout whose production never really lived up to the hype he had coming out of high school.
Opinions on Dupre are split, even among APC contributors. Some aren’t buying him based on a modest 3-cone time and college production. Others, myself included, are all for taking a flier on him late in the draft, as both Owen Riese and I are in agreement that Dupre actually has a better shot of making the roster than 5th-round pick DeAngelo Yancey.
