As the Green Bay Packers move forward towards OTAs and the veteran minicamp, the first time that players will begin taking the field in real on-field drills will be this weekend for rookie minicamp. According to a few sources, the Packers’ rookie camp is scheduled to run from May 3rd through the 6th.
That will be the first opportunity for the team’s 11-man rookie class, their 15 reported undrafted free agent rookies, and a host of other tryout players to get to know the team’s facilities and coaching staff. Likewise, we should start learning a bit more about the faces and players who go along with the names that we have already started to familiarize ourselves with.
