Cheese Curds, 4/11: Lombardi-era stories and relics make the news

For as great as a football coach Vince Lombardi was, perhaps his greatest accomplishments and actions as the Green Bay Packers' head man were the way he treated his players as individuals and the locker room environment he created inside the organization.

One player who saw what an effect that environment had, both from inside it and from a distance, was cornerback Herb Adderley, a Pro Football Hall of Famer who was a member of all five of Lombardi's championship teams in that decade before departing for the Dallas Cowboys.

While we have stories of Lombardi's time, the organization also recently acquired a relic from his first championship team, which will make a great addition to the memorabilia collection at the team's Hall of Fame.
