As one NFL legend is calling it quits, scores of players around the league are getting ready to find new homes.

For the hundreds of NFL players whose contracts expire on Wednesday, this week marks a transition period as most of them will end up in new places for the 2016 season. For one legendary quarterback, however, this is a very different kind of transition.

One of the most prolific quarterbacks in history - indeed, the player who broke most of Brett Favre's passing records - has decided to end his career on top.
