The biggest-name free agent-to-be on the Packers’ roster is safety Morgan Burnett, and his return is anything but certain. Meanwhile, Josh Jones’ usage as a deep safety in the latter part of the 2017 season seemed to contradict the plans laid out for him in the offseason, forcing him into a role that did not appear to suit his skill set.
