Coming into the 2024 season, if you had said that the Green Bay Packers would enter their bye week with a 6-3 record, most of the team’s fans would have been satisfied. That’s a very solid record and puts them right in the thick of the NFC playoff race. They may be behind two other teams in the NFC North — including a surprising Vikings team — but they still have a solid cushion for a wild card spot at this point.
The fact that this team is still three games over .500 at this point despite myriad issues — like a struggling pass rush, a starting quarterback who keeps making one or two big mistakes per game, and a receiving corps that can’t catch the ball consistently — is a sign that they could go on a run if they clean up those issues.
