Cheese Curds, 1/17: Which free agents could tempt Packers’ new GM this March?

The Green Bay Packers took care of their top two priorities in free agency before Ted Thompson officially left the GM chair.

Now it’s up to his replacement to arrange the list of priorities for the 2018 free agency cycle.

Brian Gutekunst’s task this season involves fixing a defense, plugging a few critical holes on offense, and deciding what to do with a few veteran players with large salary cap hits. One way to address the first two items is in free agency, both in terms of re-signing former Packers set to hit the market and in looking into those players from other teams.
