The Green Bay Packers put on a masterful performance on defense on Sunday, keeping the Houston Texans to just 22 points and under 200 yards of total offense. And even though the 22 points may not seem that impressive on its face, the way that Houston achieved even that number illustrates just how great the Green Bay defense played.
For the fifth straight game, the Packers allowed single-digit points in the second half — in this game, the Texans scored only a field goal after halftime. And they also only allowed six points on Houston drives that did not start after a turnover, while Houston’s two touchdown drives both followed takeaways that gave them the football inside the red zone.
