Charles Woodson: From counting NFL INTs to ‘Countdown’

Former Green Bay Packers cornerback/safety Charles Woodson has gone from counting interceptions during his long and productive NFL career to a new way to Countdown, according to published reports over the past day.

It’s been reported that Woodson will be joining ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown for the coming season.

The Big Lead reported Friday, though it was unconfirmed by ESPN sources at the time, that Woodson had found a home and new broadcasting career with the planet’s biggest sports network.

Woodson, who retired as a player at the conclusion of the 2015 season after 18 years in the league – seven of them in Green Bay and the remaining in Oakland – was always known for his ability to talk and to inspire.
