It’s only been a little over a year since Arkansas State center Jacob Bayer had surgery on his torn ACL. The 6-foot-2, 306-pound prospect visited the Packers this month, presumably for a checkup on his previously injured leg — which seems to have held up remarkably well, considering Bayer played an entire college football season in the intervening year since his surgery.
As outlined in a remarkable story by Sports Illustrated’s Bill Huber, Bayer blew through every one of the typical milestones for ACL recovery, making it back to the field less than six months after his surgery.
