The Green Bay Packers worked out six players this week, including two kickers. One of those two kickers who were in the Packers’ grasps on Tuesday, Chad Ryland, signed with the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad on Wednesday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Ryland, a former 2023 draft pick, was the New England Patriots’ starting kicker for all of last season before losing his job to Joey Slye this summer. With Ryland now off of the board, Green Bay has even more limited options to bring along a practice squad kicker behind Brayden Narveson, if they want to go down that route.
