The Green Bay Packers will open their 2023 NFL season in Chicago against the Bears in a renewal of their oldest and most traditional rivalry.
The Packers now lead the all-time regular-season series between these two teams 104-94-6. That’s in large part due to the dominance that the Packers had since 1992 when Brett Favre became their starting quarterback before being succeeded by Aaron Rodgers in 2008.
In 1992, the Bears held a 79-57-6 edge in the rivalry. Since then, the Packers have won 47 games and lost only 15.
The Packers have won the last eight meetings with Chicago and 13 of the last 14 dating back to 2016.
