On Friday, the Cleveland Browns claimed former Green Bay Packers safety Tyler Coyle off of waivers. How familiar are the Browns with Coyle? Well, the safety just played 14 defensive snaps against the team last week in the teams’ preseason opener.
Coyle began his professional career with the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent two years after being undrafted out of Purdue by way of UConn. In 2023, Coyle signed with the Houston Gamblers of the USFL, but the league soon merged with the XFL, leading to the creation of the UFL and Coyle’s free-agent status.
